Mouse Proof Brewery is one of Toowoomba’s best-loved local venues—a small but mighty brewery with a rotating range of craft beers, hearty food, and a loyal community. Known for its grunge-inspired interior and laid-back vibe, the brewery had built a strong reputation offline but needed a website that could reflect its personality and make life easier for both staff and patrons.
The project
When the Mouse Proof crew reached out, we jumped at the chance—designing a site that balanced the grit of their venue with the quality of their beers. We extended their existing branding into digital form, creating a custom WordPress site that handled everything from click-and-collect beer sales to merch orders. An integrated events calendar gave them a way to promote gigs and specials, while a booking system (built on Now Book It) streamlined table reservations. We also provided photography to showcase both the venue and the beers, creating a visual library they could continue to use across channels.
The outcome
Since launch, Mouse Proof Brewery has seen tangible results—regular online orders, increased table bookings, and stronger visibility for their events. The site gave them a platform that felt true to their character while providing practical tools to support their growth. For the team, it reduced admin headaches and created new ways to engage with their community. On a personal note, this project was especially rewarding for us as Toowoomba locals—it’s a joy to see the brewery thriving and to enjoy the benefits (er, beers) every Friday.
